(To tell the story, I was invited by a friend of mine to practice the "hutteau" technique which consists in hiding into the sand and attracting wading birds in front of the lens with the aid of homemaid lure :
it is an old technique of food hunting commonly used by the past in the Bay of Somme (north of France) reconverted for photographic purpose.)

I swear I did have birds in pair this time : the trush was not there when framing and pressing the shutter release... :p

It's a couple of hawfinches taken in far 2006 when invited and hosted by a hungarian friend of mine as he started his drink station.
Place for (small) birds to drink and bath in front of the lens was intentionaly limited so to create potential conflictual situations and to obviate crisis management.
Hawfinches did have very bad temper.
