Thank you for your answer SereneSpeed ;)

I would like the 85 more I guess but... OMG it's really heavy on the Sony mount, I don't know if I can handle it everyday... :(

About the AF, I heard that the 50 ART was faster tho...

Has any of you own a copy of this lens purchased from amazon? They are like $300 cheaper. Is it worth the risk or is it a risk at all?

I don't think its risk at all. I almost exclusively buy used lenses off here, eBay, or Fred miranda. I have yet to get a "bad copy" of a lens. I think its more user error than manufacturer. If you can find a good price you are happy with, go for it!

I don't think it really is a risk, but as a Canadian, Sigma gives us a 7-year warranty for purchasing from an authorized Canadian Sigma dealer

And 95% of the time, what the authorized dealer sells for in Canada is cheaper than the american source, by the time you include the currency exchange, shipping and taxes/border fees

I'd love to have that lens! If it doesn't work out, you can return it.

My Rokinon 85 1.4 got here yesterday. Today I returned it and ordered the Sigma.

I don’t have time to play with bugs :-)
