good news for the iPhone using Astrophotography fans, or those who like to keep their night vision.
IOS10 has the ability to turn the screen red (or any other colour)
general>accessibility>display accomodations>colour filters - then switch it on, select colour tint, and adjust intensity and hue with the sliders.
then scroll right down to the bottom of the accessibility menu to accessibility shortcut, tick colour filters, and untick everything else.
to turn your screen red, triple click the home button - to turn it off, triple click again.
it only affects the screen too, so screenshots are still full colour.
