Finally got a gimbal for my Sigma 150-600c. Now my question. When setting it up, set up for 150, 600, or somewhere in between?

Where do you shoot most?

I've only ever used a gimbal with a prime really, so for me, it's the long end all the way!

Heya,

Set it up for the "average" of use. I generally never use my 150-600 at 150mm. I do use it from 300~600mm regularily. So when I'm on my gimbal, I extend it out and do a rough average balance so that it's in the ball park for the most part. If I'm only using it at 600mm, then I do it at 600mm specifically.

Very best,
