I've had 2 weddings and one engagement passed that I wished I could have use this lens to test it. If this arrived soon, I can use it for this upcoming Sat wedding.

Pretty bold to use it for a wedding so soon. Personally I would use it for a solid month before and knew it's characteristics before I would go into a wedding.

Yeah, it needs a bit more skills, 'coz finally you could see where the AF actually lands, and not just guess which one of the fringing/aberration is supposed to be "sharp".
I hate these lenses which are "kinda sharp" no matter how you tune it :)

Sucks for Canadians. We get 7 year warranty but must wait for Canadian version or else the warranty won't be applicable

Canadians won't get this lens until mid December according to Henrys in Canada

I hate their reviews it doesn't prove anything. And they didn't even put the Canon 85 1.2L as a rival lens.

CA is present under the harshest conditions... one click in LR and it's gone... the green fringing in the bokeh is smooth and pleasant but there is some present there too. sharpness is top notch and out of the box my copy is AF accurate... tested on some SERVO with my kid running and no missed shots and my wife pulling in the driveway tracked the license plate dead accurate as well.

hood = 1.87oz total weight of lens w/ hood with no caps is 42oz even, just as I suspected. This is 4oz lighter than the OTUS but about 5oz heavier than the 85L. The nice thing is it's very big but it makes holding it nice and the zoom ring is very well dampened. The weight of the lens sits more toward the rear so it's not front heavy and very well balanced on the 5D4. Yes the lens takes the weight but it's much more balanced then I would of thought. I figured this lens would pull the camera down toward the front when holding by hand but for the most part I really like the way it feels. I think 2oz lighter would of been spot on but it's nice and not too heavy for me.

sharpness is killer wide open for a 1.4 85... NICE contrast!!! this thing is doing great for the 31 test shots I just took. Of those 31 test shots 5 were out of focus and 3 of those was most likely me in a haste.

Oh yes, I have had lenses like EF 85 1.8 (this one had quite horrible CA) and ofcourse EF 85 1.2L II as example.

The quality of my crops using screen capture and then uploading here doesn't do it's justice. Just review the raws.... I gave the harshest backlit subjects I could find for CA representation.
