I did some daytime bulb exposures the other day and I've noticed a red pixel in the same area of different images.
The pixel is red in colour which based on what I've read, is considered a hot pixel when doing bulb exposures.
I've also read that Photoshop should remove hot pixels when the image is imported.
I'm finding that isn't the case.
It may not be as noticeable but, when I zoom in on the image, it is quite noticeable.
I'm using Photoshop CC.
I was viewing the images using Canon ZoomBrowser when I first noticed the red pixel.
This red pixel showed up on different images with a shutter speed of 3 seconds or slower, aperture of 4 or 8 and ISO of 100 or 400.
Was using a Canon 6D with a CPL and a 10 stop ND filter when doing the bulb exposures.
Is this normal or should the red pixel be completely eliminated after being imported into Photoshop CC?
