Morning Walk

Near my house is an Oklahoma City city park (Martin Park) which is operated primarily as a wildlife refuge in the middle of the otherwise busy city. It's a bit quieter than other places and attracts a good deal of wildlife so it's a favorite place for my camera and me to take a morning walk. Today a came upon this fawn who was alone and quite content to let me approach to within about 10 feet. When a somewhat noisy family walked by, the fawn got a bit nervous but stayed put. After they passed, the fawn was happy to continue ignoring me.
