was pleased to hear that the wheels-up landing at Ardmore this afternoon was a safe one...

not sure why they were up flying today, we've had rain, thunder & lightning this afternoon.


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

having been gently lifted from the runway & landing gear put in the "landing" position. Hopefully not too much damage.

Looks like a minimum amount of damage to the airframe - that's good.
But with a prop strike the engine will have to be rebuilt.

Sad to see these vintage planes getting hurt!
