I have a friend who recently got married and her photos were done by one of her friends, who didn't want a lot of money for doing it. She wants to get her a gift by way of a thank you. Anyone got any suggestions for something maybe photography related? Not necessarily gear but just something cool? She says she's looking to spend around fifty pounds. Americans, just think around fifty dollars.

Thanks!

Here's my gear: Canon 1100D, 18-55mm kit lens, Canon 50mm 1.8, Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 55-250mm, Speedlite 430EX flashgun

A gift voucher from Wex? If it was me, I wouldn't want anything else photography related as I'm very fussy about my gear and I would need to choose it myself. Outside of photography, her friend probably knows her taste better than anyone on this forum! Just my opinion.

Yes if you are thinking photography related then a WEX gift voucher would probably be ideal. I know getting something specific seems like a nicer thing to do, but I would much rather be able to go get exactly what I want/need. WEX is my favorite camera retailer now, since they have very good prices, the in store prices are the same, and for me their show room is my LOCAL store, and being a wheelchair user the only one not in the increasingly difficult to get to Norwich City center (unless you ride a bike).

Lucky you, Alan, having Wex as your local. I use them all the time but it takes days for things to get here and then it's a case of trial and error! Had I been the photographer, I would love a £50 Wex gift certificate.
