Little League Football With the 7D Mark II?

Going to be shooting my first football game ever this Saturday during the daytime, Not sure on the time yet but ISO won't be an issue for sure. I have been using Case 1 on my 7D Mark II and has been working great however I know Sports may require a different setup to freeze the motion. Has anyone shot Little League Football before with the 7D Mark II? What case did you use?

I just shot my first American Football Game, yesterday, using a 7dii. But, I shoot soccer all the time.

I used case 4, although I like case 6 in instances where the autofocus will have a hard time locking on the subject, such as a bright sunny day where they are wearing white jerseys. I am using a Sigma 120-300 Sport, which does not focus quite as fast as Canon lenses. Case 6 is basically the same as Case 4 if you are only using a single focus point.

In shooting soccer, I found that case 1 didn't keep up with the players. The difference between 1 and 4 is that acceleration/decelerat​ion tracking is faster.
