Boat-tailed Grackles will sometimes hang around my Kingfisher spot doing the squeaky hinge thing and sometimes land on my head while I'm under the camo drape. On this day they were the only birds to show and when the light hits them right they can be surprisingly colorful.

I agree but it's strange when they land on my head. They've got some decent sizes hooks.

Very nice Steve, thats one I don't think I have seen but once, on the beach. Landing on your head though, must have been hard to lay still. Grand job.
