Bridal portrait (which do you prefer)

Can't decide if I like this bride (and wedding in general) with more of a film grain look, or more of a natural, vibrant color look. I'm leaning more toward the film grain but let me know which you like better.

Film Grain is #1

Natural vibrant color #2.

I prefer #2.

The grain in #1 produces something on her face that looks unnatural. I think the bride would prefer to have her skin as soft as possible.

I agree with Gart, but I'd also suggest that you look for another shot. I don't find this pose very flattering. If you want to show her back then she should be rotated more and looking down or straight out to minimize neck wrinkling. And the hair on top of her head is almost totally lost into the black background.

Her skin looks better in #2.

Have you considered portrait orientation for this shot? It includes an expanse of scenery with little variation, so that a narrower slice of the background would establish the setting as well as a thick slice does.

Nice even light and she's looks very beautiful.

I'm viewing on a tablet so can't authoritatively comment about the grain.

Like the last posters I would have either shot this in portrait or be cropping it that way, in the composition above the bride is splitting the frame centrally and the background it not interesting enough to include so much of it.

Similarly, the pose is OK, but could have been improved: shoulder is pointing up dividing her body, we see too much of her back and not enough front. I'd have had here twisted so there was no back seen at all and the bouquet in front of the stomach area so the dress was its bsckground.

I like the color/temp of #2 better
