how can that be? recently I bought the M5 and a 18-150mm!

Haha different people do have different preferences :)

Funnily enough the one zoom I have I always forget it is a zoom and only use it at the wide end :p

I was seriously considering the Tamron 18-200mm until I saw a size comparison between it and the canon 18-150mm. The amount of extension on the Tamron when zoomed just seemed a lot longer than I would like. I ended up ordering the canon 55 to 200mm instead. I have never been a fan of super zooms to start with and since I have the 11-22mm and 15-45mm zooms, it just seemed like the better choice.

Also snagged a deal on a grey market one for under $200, so that made it really hard to pass up.

Nice shots! That ISO 6400 shot looks real clean!

The final product looks great so that's what counts!

Bit of a test for the camera and lens - my kitchen, hand held with just the kitchen LED lighting: didn't nail focus here, but handheld .... and I reckon given the conditions, pretty damn good

The Rokinon 12/2 from e-bay arrived. Saved about 100 coin versus buying new off B&H, looks to be in perfect shape.
Couple shots in the man cave, focus peaking a charm. I think it'll be find for landscape and trying the M5 on Milky Way
later in the spring.

Maybe a repost? If sorry, I can't keep up with what I've done.

Lightroom, I usually avoid high ISO at all costs, 3200 and above but the M5 is allowing me to push it. So I basically don't know what I'm doing LOL

Any idea why the metadata isn't showing my shots taken with the 18-150? I did use Lightroom to edit

They haven't added it to the gear list here yet. I added a request to the thread for updates, but they haven't made the change yet.

My little dog today. There's been something dead and malodorous where we walk, although it's subsiding now. I have come to believe Duffy deliberately approaches the carcass so he can he can be called back and rewarded.
