I think even Kai showed that the M5 can do things moving, better at panning I think....but most shots of things moving are either
angular or panning. Rare is the object moving 100 percent direct straight at you.

Threw sticks to keep him going into the water and stop him panting. He needs a trim .... Olympus M1 MkII, Olympus M5 MkIII: Lenses covering 8 - 300mm

Reminds me- when I went to NZ I did a 48 hours overstop in Fiji, looked very similar and I'd expect the n.island of NZ (I only spent my time on the s.island) would be kinda tropical; but I never saw what I'd call tropical on the s.island.....of course it was snowing when I was there in places. Hot wind blowing, but is a nice bit of coast. Olympus M1 MkII, Olympus M5 MkIII: Lenses covering 8 - 300mm

So far the fires are several kilometres away, but it's scary with the wind. Everything is so dry, and water is an issue - quite scary to be honest. I think wind is either northerly or norwester, so blowing away from where I live .... really feel for those out at Ocean Beach and Waimarama though. Feb 13, 2017 09:55 | #520 Just an observation but based on my own testing and flicking back through this thread at posted images, it certainly seems that with the exception of 22/2 lens all of the "decent" images taken with the M5 have come from non-EFM lenses
