I see Canon have a new mirrorless offering:

funny - my e-mail from Canon self-directed itself into the spam folder! (must know what gear I have already)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

possibly, but then after 10 years or so you forget what you paid for stuff.... ;-)a

Aint that the truth. I've had my Gitzo legs & Markins head for 11 or 12 years now I think. Not even sure at this point.

Same with my manfrotto - while old and heavynow , I do remember at the time it was a good price

And to add insult to injury Canon is coming out with the M50 to upstage the m5....4k video, better autofocus, faster processor, 10fps shooting, silent mode, fully articulating LCD (less resolution and slightly smaller though) for 900 us dollars. How about an update Canon to give your "better" more "expensive" M5 camera more functionality.

both taken with the ef-m 18-150mm. The top shot (statue) was cropped a bit but still looks decent.

Another from the ef-m 18-150mm. Cropped quite a bit (in the camera) and shot thru a car front glass. If you see some aberrations it's probably from the car window.

I was shooting with my 7d2 and a 100-400mm lens so I only got close ups. My wife was using the M5 and 18-150mm and got the full length shots. This is a baby alligator from Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in south Texas.

Couple of sky shots at Clive this evening. Not enjoying the end of daylight saving ... feels way too close to winter to me.
