I had a dog like that once, cowered almost when I pointed the camera at him if I was close to him.

They're much smarter than we give them credit sometimes.

And to add insult to injury Canon is coming out with the M50 to upstage the m5....4k video, better autofocus, faster processor, 10fps shooting, silent mode, fully articulating LCD (less resolution and slightly smaller though) for 900 us dollars. How about an update Canon to give your "better" more "expensive" M5 camera more functionality.

Was looking at the M5 for an upcoming trip ...... then I saw the M50 at Best Buy.

Looks like I can get the M50 with the 15-45 lens for around $899 .... they add the 50-200 or something close to that for the price of the M5 2 lens kit.

I ma be leaning that way ...... probably only need the 14-45 for the trip ...... 7 day cruise with three port calls on the islands.

Be interested to hear how it performs

Sometimes I throw the M5 in and the 400 5.6 in a backpack in case I feel like walking back from work. Heres 2 from one of those walks.

I'm assuming that's Taita cemetery? Was there Anzac to pay respects to my grandparents. My grandfather died Anzac day 50 years ago, so we had a little family reunion ...

I'm enjoying the depth of field on that shot, and the B & W treatment.
