Couple on the late afternoon dog walk. The dog heard this bird, so I investigated. Apparently it's a California Quail, which was introduced to NZ and is now naturalised here.

I just passed on my M5 to my SIL, after getting the EOS R, but I think the M5 is an excellent camera. I snagged this with the MF 22-250mm.

Saw i-G12 over at the Panasonic G9 thread, and he commented that I had defected :-) I have, but I'm keeping the M5 so took it out today.

Haumoana - all with 15-45.

The first - three shots one stop, SNS to combine:

edit - just noticed the exif doesn't report both 1.4x TC and 2x TC.... likely an issue with the EFM adapter methinks.

hi all,

I've got a 70D that I'm thinking of selling it to fund the purchase of the M5. I know it's not new tech, but I prefer the body of the M5 over the M6. I plan to use on my EF lenses with it since I have a 6D Mark II as my main rig. My concern is about the handling of the camera. Does anyone have any grip extender with it? I'm from the Philippines and my options are probably limited but here's something I found in a local web site:
https://www.lazada.com.ph …6.7eed444c7FyB82&search=1 (external link)

Any thoughts on this? Thank you!

Hi Dean,

I "traded" an unused 7D body for an M5 about a year ago and I love it. I still have my 7D2 so the DSLR base is covered, but the M5 is great when I want something lighter and more compact (I was doing a lot of business travel when I bought it, and it's great when I go biking or hiking).

There's a general EF-M thread that's been a lot more active recently than this M5 one: https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=18754017&i=i146157353

Also, the M50 thread seems to be a lot of people using adapted EF lenses. It's not the M5, but it uses the same sensor: https://photography-on-the.net …read.php?t=1492953&page=1

Good luck!
Mike
