Two of my favorite northern sparrows made their first-of-the-season appearance today on the heels of a cold front, the Fox and the Harris's.

Hello Al, Very nice as usual, love those little mountain peaks on the Fox and thats the first Harris I have seen, both real nice.

Its always nice to see a new species, so thanks for the Harris sparrow. Both beautifully photographed, and the Fox sparrow is a belter.
