Of course you pay a lot more for it, but the files coming off that sensor are spectacular. chauncey wrote in post #18152256 Can you say Google? Sad but I guess Chauncey gonna chaunce. Oct 09, 2016 09:01 | #6 I currently shoot with a 7d mark ii mainly sports/wildlife but have now been getting more and more inquires to do Senior photo's and family shots so I'm thinking now is the time to add a full frame to the kit. My biggest reason for wanting the full frame is IQ. I know the 6D is vary capable I am just concerned I may miss all the features of the 5D series bodies. I feel the only time I would be using the 6D would be for portrait and landscapes but you know how that goes. I don't want to eat my words in 6 months.

Chauncey, What really defines a pro in your mind? To me that's a very loose term. If you feel a pro is a photographer that collects a paycheck shooting photography then I feel you are way off base. To me a pro is someone that has a passion for photography. This forum is full of people that fit my definition of PRO. Just my opinion.

Sufficiently narrowing the question will provide the proper answer. If full frame is the only criterion, there are less expensive cameras than the 6D. If AI-servo AF is part of the bang, you need more bucks than the 6D.
