The local team had a there homecoming game on a Saturday afternoon, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. As the title says, I hadn't shot HS football in 4 years because the field's lights & my equipment just don't give me a satisfactory feeling when it's all said & done.
These shots were taken w/ a 5D3 and 300 f/4L + 1.4x extender. First time I've used this combination & I was quite pleased, especially when I was shooting with the sun to my back. Surprisingly I almost felt like it was too much lens at times!
