This question is for wedding photographers. When you have your 2nd shooter with you shooting a wedding, how do you synchronize photos after words in a correct timeline.
I find myself spending a lot of time trying to put the timeline of my and my 2nd shooter photos together. Is there an easy way I dont know about?

Any help will be greatly appreciate it.

Sync camera times, do the shoot, import into LR, sort by capture time, export with new filename, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Possibly...I don't have a second shooter but I use two bodies to cover events and for some photoshoots and that works for me.

I think Military time is the issue. I dont believe LR identify the fact that its 24 hour time. I believe it just sees the times as numbers.

Use ExifTools and ExifToolsGui (external link) to correct the timestamp in the raw file using an offset you work out. Keep a backup of the original files of course, because you'll probably get it wrong the first time. Try on one raw file. You may need to sort by date created or modified, can't remember. Then rename in LR/Bridge and use the filename sequence for ordering from there on.

I just checked through the manual, it appears she has no option other than UTC/Military time.
I'll second using ExifTools suggested by Tim.

I think it would make a lot more sense for you to change your camera to 24-hour clock. It's by far the easiest way for anything digital to operate. I also register my dates in camera as yy/mm/dd. Then you have yy/MM/dd/hh/mm/ss which any computer can sort easily. This AM/PM business causes only pain and confusion - as you have found out!

Hey guys. Thanks for all the replays.

I had a 10 hour wedding yesterday. I had changed mines to 24 hours /military and it worked! Our photos are synced correctly. So much easier to work with this way!
