So...I'm looking for a great quality 10 Stop Circular ND filter & have gotten it down to either of the following:

B+W (external link)

Or

Firecrest (external link)

Any input regarding experience & preferences?

Help me spend some hard earned...

Thanks

When I recently enquired about round ND filters, in my case only a one or two stop for my Sigma 150-600 C, which is a 95mm filter thread, the Firecrest was the one that seemed to come most highly recommended, and that was actually mostly based on those using the 10 stop version. The great thing about it is that it is a British product. Prices seem quite good too, IIRC £125 or so for the 95mm. It looks like that is where I shall be going for mine. No real rush at the minuet for me though since the UK airshow season is now over, starting again in April.

I own the 10 stop firecrest. If you want a truly neutral ND filter it's the way to go. I'd say it has zero color cast as I can not see any, however I'm sure there is some machine that would find some kind of shift. So I'll just say almost zero color cast.
