5DSR CF card door loose

This is more irritating than anything else. Doesn't affect performance, but makes the camera feel jankier. My CF card door is kind of loose in its closed position. Specifically, it shifts ever so subtly upward and downard on its vertical access. My hand feels it and it throws my off.

Anyone else have this? Anyone know how to fix it?

Mine moves a tiny bit, perhaps less than a quarter of a millimetre.
I don't notice it during use but I doubt there is a fix for it.
I'm guessing there needs to be some clearance to allow the mechanism to work.

Can I suggest you go to your dealer and compare it to another one?

I'll give that a shot. Also I'd agree. Mine is pretty subtle--around a mm but I can still feel it when it shifts.

I looked closer at the door mechanism.
The only way I could stop it sliding was to put a small piece of tape on the bottom edge of the door and trap it against the body.

I do not suggest anyone else do this though.
