I searched the forum but didn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I apologize in advance if this has been answered before:

What are most pros using as their online tools for editing, proofing and selling photos online?

I've been using Photoreflect with DigitalDarkroom, however, I'm not 100% pleased.... also, it lacks the capability of doing fancy album edits like other programs.

I'm not a big fan of the JAVA based ROES type systems, so if there are other options, I'd love to hear em.

I also have a Printroom account (pro) but haven't explored it in depth yet as it takes forever to upload the files.... even on Cable Modem speeds....

Shutterfly actually seems to make decent prints, however, their pro accounts lack a lot of features as well, and don't allow you to remove the silly Shutterfly logos, etc.

Any other options out there???? Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance :-)

I use the EOS Template, hosted on my own site, and I post proofs not finished photos. When an order comes in I get it as an email, process each photo individually, have it printed at a local pro lab, then mail it out. I like the control it gives me, and this way I don't have to process every one of the 400 or so proofs from each wedding.

go to your local lab and see if they have a solution. I work at a lab (doing IT, but obviously i'm a shooter) and we use the performerpro.com software on the lab side of things and distro it to our shooters. if you can't find anything local, shoot me a PM and ill get you more info

another option would be something like picturespro.com - you spend the $200 for their software which is essentially a shopping cart setup w/ paypal and or real credit cards and you do the hosting and everything else
