I've been waiting for this shot for several years. In the Lake Tahoe basin, we don't get a ton of different colors, so this spot is really nice. Usually in the fall, this waterfall isn't flowing, or barely is. So to get the colors, water and right light conditions is tough, to top it off, it had just rained so the colors were popping.

Great colors and nice photo, you did get everything and took a great shot.
I just bought that same lens, can't wait to try it out.
How do you like it?

Really looks like a beautiful area.

Thank you :). It's an awesome lens. I had the original model, from 1996, non IS and it was good, this is much better. The iq is great and the IS is so nice to have. Focus is crazy fast. You will enjoy shooting with it.

That's a gorgeous photo; well executed and well worth the wait.
