So something not much smaller than a G15 that probably produces images no better, is not a phone replacement and costs more than an entry level DSLR with a twin lens kit (which would probably kill this in all respects other than size and weight)
Interesting design but unless it becomes a cellular phone replacement and reduces cost I think it would struggle in the market.
I thought the comment about 600mm lenses all coating $12k was a laugh. Forgetting about the 150-600's that have been around for years

I also thought the writer didnt think of the sigma or tamron 150-600.
Still, a very interesting approach. If it delivers what they stated in this article i think its a pretty cool thing. You cant know, this might be the next step towards new possibilities.
The thing im wondering about is how they manage it to avoid parallax problems due to every sensor/lens pair sitting on a different part of the device.
And it sure is more interesting than the camera phone that kodak just announced lol
