Very nice. I was there in mid-September as part of a Canon Photography Destination Workshop. I've seem photos over the years of elk lounging on manicured lawns, but to actually see these magnificent animals "hanging out" on the lawns at Mammoth Hot Springs was a real treat especially as a contrast to seeing them out in the wild.

Having easy access to Yellowstone (especially when the crowds are gone) is certainly a wildlife/landscape photographer's utopia. After having experienced it, I hope to make it a biannual event (funds permitting).
