Just receivd my kupo jr roller stand. How the heck do you attach these wheels? The nut bolt can only tighten so much and the wheels seem to fit at an odd angle and are a touch wobbly. An internet search yields many similar posts. One B&H customer says that Kupo states hand tightening is fine. Just doesnt have the "confident" feel I would like.

Does anyone have any wisdom for me on how to attach these or is this just the way it fits?

EOS R gripped, 6D w/Vello grip, 650 w/Canon grip, 85 1.8, 16-35L, 40mm 2.8, 100mm 2.8 L Macro Broncolor Siros 400S

Hi, I have the Kupo Junior Roller stand - the wheels should feel very solid. I hope they sold you the correct wheels. I'll add a phone pic - the B&H photo is basically correct, 'tho they have the legs fractionally too flat. The lowest (fixed) knuckle should be at the lowest point on the column and the struts are not parallel to the floor when the wheel caster axles are perfectly vertical. The longer slot in the 'shoe' allows for compression to achieve a solid grip - I used 6 in wrenches to snug up the (nyloc) nuts.

(The stand has been near perfect over 2 yrs - I did need to tighten the grub screw (allen key) on the upper knuckle - easy.)

Excuse the snaps:

The wheels came in the box with the stand. I went to the local shop on the way home and checked their floor model and the wheels are solid and flush. The nut that came with the stand seems to have a black area lining the top that prevents the bolt from tightening fully. (the bolt on the floor model is different.) Hopefully I can find a hardware store tomorrow before the shoot to replace the nuts.

Thanks for the photos. This is how the one in the store looks. Mine does not! I think they packaged the wrong nuts. They only tighten a small amount. The wheels are a bit wobbly and are slightly angled. The stand rolls like an old shopping cart as a result.

Hi, Hope you get things sorted out. Once the leg geometry is correct, with the caster axles perfectly vertical, then rolling the stand is smooth/gliding.

Ya, the one in the shop was great. I could move it with one finger with a broncolor siros attached.

Went to Canadian Tire and bought new nuts. Stand is beautiful now! :)

Seriously... how do you provide the wrong nuts for a stand Kupo?
