Late Arrival. Early Departure.

Waiting on Kingfishers takes a lot of patience some days and when they decide to go they usually give no indication. This is as close as I've come to catching a launch, even at 1/2000th of a second it wasn't enough to completely freeze the wing in the departure.

I wish I had a reliable spot for kingfisher. I still haven't gotten one that I like.

Yes kingfishers are mostly uncooperative. You did well

Thanks Jeremy. I was under my camO cloth drape. If you want to get close it's a portable and effective approach.

Thanks Bob. I can work around the skittish nature, it's the habitat loss that''s making it increasingly difficult to get them in the viewfinder.
