Lr does allow me to create different size photos on a sheet but not too user friendly on that count, I tried Qimage but it looks and feels pretty dated, is there any other software I should be looking at?

Thus, the driver doesn't need to do any further resizing in order to provide the exact pixel size to match the planned dot layout.
