This was part of a Halloween "mini" special I set up in my living room for the neighborhood moms. This is also my first 3 point light setup, so feedback is appreciated.

With bringing the background down, you'll gain much more eye contact with the kid - she'll stand out much more. - Olafs Osh

Oct 31, 2016 21:40 | #3 I like the lighting set up. And, I like the amount of blur and the composition of the background. That one light back there though... no. I've always been a photographer, but I haven't always had a camera.

Nov 03, 2016 07:57 | #5 Nice shot. I'd add a slight vignette to bring more focus to the girl and possibly try to brighten her eyes a bit in PP. Sony a7R3a/a6300/ 16-70/4 / 70-200/4 G / 12-24/4 G/ 24-105/4 G /Sony HVL-60M

ksbal Goldmember More info | Nov 08, 2016 13:55 | #9 very nice, but lighting is too low, particularly what looks like the fill light.. one catchlight is way low for camera right reflector or flash that was over there. a bit above their heads will have much better lighting. But this is very nice and much better than a cell phone pic! Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
