Small blemishes from normal daily use as a working photographer. Most blemishes are probably from setting the lens on the ground/tables during assignments.
I put tape on all of my lenses to lock the AF switch in place, but this one has a plastic prong broken off (super normal for this lens). I think CPS will fix for free or there’s a local SF shop that will do it for $20. It’s been like this since right after I bought it and hasn’t affected performance or handling ever.
Sharp lens and reliable. Used almost daily for the last 3 years.
As a bonus, you get a super awesome B+W 72mm UV filter since the filter’s ring is slightly bent and I can’t get it off with my hands. I can probably pull it off if I use a grippy fabric, but I don’t see the need right now.
