Hey,

I've shot a few events where I've shot tethered to lightroom, then printed the images there and then.

Went to quote for a job earlier and logistically I'd need an assistant in the next room to do the cropping/printing etc.

I could run a really large cable, but I don't think it will look great, has anyone reliably used lightroom 5 to shoot with a 6d, tethered, over wifi?

Thanks in advance :-)

I was looking into this about a week ago. I came across this blog article. It looks promising.

I found a guide where the guy did it using EOS Utilities. But I can't seem to download that. When I go on the Canon website it just tells me that I don't need drivers with my OS :-(

You can probably use the EOS Utilities for OS X 10.11

Here's the direct link:

On the Canon website you land on the Drivers tab, which as you say indicates that no drivers are necessary. There is another tab for Software, where you will find the downloads for DPP, EOS Utility etc. This tab actually detects your OS and offers you the correct version. Canon really should make this a bit more obvious, because even if you arrive from a Google search that displays the content from the Software tab, you end up on the Drivers tab. This is not the first time that I have seen people asking on POTN having only got as far as the Drivers tab, and getting the you don't need drivers message.
