This is my first trip to Italy, have lots of expectation and excitement. Currently I have Canon 70D and Sony A6000.
The Sony only comes with the standard kit lens 16-50.
I have few prime lenses from Canon and Tamron.
But because this is a family trip I'm thinking to bring only the Sony and cell phone to capture my experience (try to manage 2 younger children as well).
So beside the 16-50 kit lens, would anyone willing to chip in to offer suggestions to buy and carry for the trip?

Much appreciate for the help.

My trip to Italy was purely to Rome, and I did it with a Nikon D40 and a kit lens. An a6000 would have been unbelievable to have, even with the kit lens.

Ideally, any of the WA Batis or Loxia lenses would be great. 18 or 21mm.

Rather have versatility? Zeiss 16-35 f4.

On a budget, get a couple of the Sigma WA f2.8 primes instead especially if you are going to be shooting inside a bunch. This is probably what I would do if I was just bringing my a6000 to Italy.

I shot in 10 different Cathedrals around Rome on my trip, and I honestly could have shot every last one in the city because it was so fascinating. But, I did OK for only having a week there.
