More Fire Bomber action in Australia

Hi all,

We had another fire start yesterday afternoon in strong wind conditions close to the base with both the C130 & Dc10 getting into the action at short notice. Flying time from take off to landing was between 5 & 10 min.

Aero commander callsign "BirDog" up first.

followed by the C130, Bomber 132.

Hopefully they have the fires under control soon.

Sad to see they're needed, but that DC10 is still an awesome aircraft!


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
