For some reason EOSCount is refusing to install on my computer. I've tried it 4 times and it says it's finished but it will not open and it's not on the harddrive anywhere. What are some other similar programs where I could find out the shutter count on my 5D3?

I also downloaded EOSInfo and it would not register my camera when plugged in.

Maybe share what you did to make it work in case others have similar issues?

Not really sure what got it to work eventually. But here is what I did. First of all it only works on IE, which I knew. Everytime I tried to download it it would say finished, but in the web page it would say error (it's supposed to open in the web page since the download is nothing more than an ActiveX control). I just repeated this step over and over until it finally worked one time.

The first time I got it to work without the error I was actually using Chrome with the IE toolbar plugin (since IE was having an error). But when I tried to pay for the shutter count PayPal said I needed to update my browser. So I went back and tried again on IE and it worked that next time.

I'm running Windows 10 Home on my system by the way, which is the native operating system, not upgraded from another Windows.
