I recently bought 16-35 mm f/4 lens and used it a couple of time. I found I used most at 35 mm end (sometimes at 24 mm) , never used once at 16 mm end. I found that I either don't like or am not used to see the distortion at 16 mm. I wonder if people can share their photos using ultra wide angles. Thanks!!

UWA is an acquired taste. It truly challenges. I use to be a 100-300 kind of shooter because it was easier to compose. For sure I take less images with UWA, but most of the keepers stand out. My current walk around is a Fuji X-T1 with a 10-24 on it (15-36 FF equiv FOV).

It must be. I have seen a lot beautiful sunset or ocean view pictures taken with UWA lens and I really like the sweeping views. But using it myself is a different story. Maybe I should spend more time playing with it. How do you like the UWA lens as walk around lens? When I traveled with it, I often found the need to switch to a telephoto lens and it was inconvenient.

the 10-24 is the walk around lens, TS-E17 is my other UWA, not a walkaround for me:-)

:-P
TS-E17 and TS-E24II are amazing. The shift makes for the best architectural photography.
