Sigma 12-24mm ART

I am literally checking everyday for reviews and sample photos from this lens. I have been waiting for a lens just like this for wedding photography and never wanted the 16-35mm as I didn't want the overlap from 24-35.

Please please please lets share some photos from this lens!

I'm interested in this lens,also.
I'm surprised by the lack of sample images anywhere,to help me make the decision.
Can't even find any on Flickr...

Thanks for the samples.
How are you finding the lens,in regards to focus accuracy and speed?

How are you also finding the corner sharpness?

This lens was a demo model of sigma.
This lens has a very good build quality, similar to other art styles, maybe even better.
She's pretty sharp all over the image, I see little difference in sharpness between center and edge image.
I did a little comparison between this lens and the Canon 24-70 2.8L II. at 24mm.
The canon is sharper everywhere, from the center to the edge, even at f8.
I think this is not a disaster because I suspect that the canon variant, the 11-24, can't also stand the comparison at 24mm with the 24-70 2.8LII.
This lens seems a good connection on my 24-70, and mainly because of the price.
Here in Belgium, the price of the sigma is € 1,749, whereas' the canon 11-24 still costs € 3,000.
I'm going first read some reviews ...... but this lens is already in stock here.

I'd really like to see more samples.

I rented the 12-24 ART to play with for a week to try it out before the wife and I take a trip to Italy in June. Unfortunately, the whole week I have it, the weather is poo. So, just so to add some photos here, I'm tossing a couple up. Unfortunately, everything was grey and crappy outside. I really wasn't wowed by the lens, and indoors it was borderline disappointing. I remember on my 7D when I had the 8-16, I was absolutely blown away by the contrast and colors. Not so much with the 12-24.

I am seeing some really good shots in the 12-24 ART Flickr group, so that's promising, but for my Italy trip, since I'm looking at just renting, I'll probably get the Canon 11-24.

Also, don't know why EXIF is showing as Canon 17-40..... but that's wrong.

Any other owners out there? va_rider where did you rent yours from? Really interested in this lens

I'm getting one tonight. Gonna trade 3 other wide lenses for it. I'm pretty psyched. However, the weather here has been terrible, and will probably stay that way for a while, so not sure when I will get any worthwhile pix... Still, stay tuned I'll get something up.
