I had the older EX f/5.6 some time ago and really loved it on my 1D series 1.3x APS-H.
When I got the 5D3 and finally had full use of my 17-40 L I sold it,.. but I must say I regret doing that. Used prices even for that old version have gone UP since this ART was released, being f/4 it is in a totally different price range.

Love the ultra wide you guys are getting from this on a FF sensor!

I'm crazy about wide. I let this lens go when I went to Sony, but am getting a new 12-24 tomorrow. Looking back over pictures from this year, most of my best are with this lens. Still have hundreds I haven't processed.

Oddly, this is with the 12-24, too. Cropped way down, of course.

With my work schedule (lots of overtime), and doing real estate photography on my time off, I haven't been posting much on here lately.

Here is a shot from a few nights ago, overlooking Corpus Christi Bay. Have a great weekend!

Looking over Corpus Christi Bay, towards downtown from Portland, TX.

These cumulonimbus clouds are promising some possible rain for this afternoon.. ?

I'm glad to see that you're still shooting with this lens.

If you mean me, I'm actually not! I switched to Sony and use a Sony 12-24 now (much smaller and lighter!). But still processing old pix...
