Picked up the new 70-200 f/2.8 E FL lens, which seems like a great lens.

A few quick shots with the D750-

I hope to get out and shoot with the lens more. I planned a senior portrait shoot on Sunday, however, it rained / snowed all weekend.

Received my copy yesterday...this thing focuses in a flash. Sharper than previous version and I like the slightly smoother transitions in the background. Here are some fun samples until I do some portrait shoots with it.

All taken with d810...wide open of course....

For those that have this, is it a worthy upgrade if your current model is already sharp? I tested it today in store and the move of the zoom ring didn't bother me, in fact, it felt quite natural. $2700 is a steep, steep price to pay for a lens if it an incremental upgrade to what I already have.

I upgraded because of the lack of focus breathing and faster focus acquisition. The slightly sharper images wasn't the deal breaker for me so I guess it all depends what you are shooting. Hope that helps! :-)

Thanks Mario. Out of curiousity, I noticed your lens collection, which is very nice BTW. What do you shoot and why did you choose to keep the 85 with the 105 in the stable?

Thank you...I mainly shoot real estate but also do portraits and have done commercial events as well. Ever since I got the 105, I haven't used the 85 at all. I may end up selling it because of that. Super lens but mine just sits in the bag.
