I had an amazing photoshoot with a local Las Vegas model, Sady. We shot throughout downtown and the Arts District, and Sady knocked it out of the park.

In the past few years I've been concentrating on off-camera flash, so for this shoot I wanted to go back to basics; two prime lenses and mostly natural light, just some light bounce flash when needed. I wanted to focus more on posing, composition and post processing.

Comments & criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty lady. The eyes look really funny in the 4th image. The rest are great.

The shots look fine.

I wouldn't say she "knocked it out of the park" though. The poses are good, but not out of the ordinary. Also, when a model is knocking things out of the park, she will have her outfit in order so that an odd piece of bra is not staring through in the front like the one shot. Straps on shoulders are often okay, but generally not wads of bra fabric between cleavage. Tape or adhesive patches would probably work in that case.

I thought the same thing about the eyes in picture 4. The large bowl thingy behind her head in picture 2 is very distracting. And in picture 6 the background isn't what I would call attractive....it detracts from her.

And yes, the bra showing through in picture 4 is kind of tacky.

All of this. Also there is pretty much no difference in expression in every single image - closed, tense mouth and flat eyes; in every photo except one she has a hand in her hair. Combine that with the weird, tense, grasping hand on the hem of her dress in #3 and I am led to believe that she is not a very experienced model.

All of that said, I think you did a pretty nice job with location, composition and cropping; I would probably darken the images down just a tad and add more contrast and to separate her from junky backgrounds more, but that's just personal taste. 1 and 2 are my favorite and seem to make the most sense with her (lack of) expression.

I think the shots are good, but I would change both boots. Instead of the ankle boot I would use high heel shoes, instead of the second one a high heel version which would help to slim the legs.

Keeping it positive after a few negative comment:

Nice finding backgrounds that watch with the wardrobe. Purple dress purple graffiti I see what you did there

Fairly nice photos but I'd like to see a smile in some of these. seeing just 1 photo without a smile can look sultry. Seeing a full set with no smile and the model comes across as bored or miserable.
