Sorry if this has been covered in one of the hundreds of Mk IV pages, but I'm not the only one very interested in knowing:

If one has a monitor/external recorder connected to the Mk IV via HDMI, does that lock out the camera's LCD screen as it does with the 5D II, making use of touch focus impossible?
I've been using a smallHD monitor for both stills and video for the sake of ergonomics and ease of focusing on my II. The DPAF looks like a great video feature on the IV, especially for racking focus- I could get rid of my focus rings/levers and nail it every time, it seems. However, if using a monitor locks out the touchscreen, I'm back to squinting and crawling on the ground for low shots, given the lack of a tilting screen.

Also, if one is using a tablet/phone via WiFi on the IV, are you still able to rack focus by touching the remote display that is being used?

Thanks!

So far I do not have this issue with Wifi. I have not tried HDMI though.
