Does anyone have experience with the satin plastic laminate coating, gator foam board or masonite mounting options from Bay Photo. Would these be suitable to hang directly on the wall? How durable would they be compared to Bay's metal prints?
Skipping the mat and frame frees up a lot of space with neutral walls. I've fallen in love with metal prints. There's room for maybe a dozen more 12 x 18 metal prints. I'm just wondering if gator board or masonite mounted prints with the protective laminate would be as durable.
