Hey guys. I've been lurking around these forums for a long time but I need to up my post count so I can engage in transactions in the classified section. So here is the start of me sharing some photos. This is a portrait of my stepdad that I shot a few years back but recently retouched. Shot with a Canon 600 flash in a 24" foldable softbox against a dark bath towel backdrop. I'm sure some people might say the retouching is a little heavy handed but lately I've been trying to work on my high end commercial/advertising style retouching. BTS below the portrait. C&C welcome.

As with every black background type shot, I would advise using a kicker light to create separation between the subject and the background. His head and hair blend into the darkness.
