First time editing in Photoshop

Please ignore the logo, it's there to protect my images on social media sites.

This is very nice Angela. I love the mischievous look on her face. What did you do in photoshop, add the flare in the upper left?

Thank you, yes, along with some actions I got. So far I haven't been successful in getting brushes to work so I did some minor skin corrections in LR.

Very Nice. I like it. But dont put too much weight on having that logo there as an anti theft tactic. Lassoing it and content aware fill can get rid of it in half a second.

what is content aware fill? i struggle with heal and clone,i would love to try some thing else,great image by the way.
is that 50-100 sigma a crop or full frame lens,i would love that focal length

This is a good example how Content Aware Fill works: LINK

I actually use it quite often on items that are larger than what the healing brush(s) or patch tool can be used for.

The big help that the watermark provides, at least in the USA, is that if someone does remove the watermark, and then proceeds to use the image within the US, is that it allows for much higher monetary awards, even if the image is not registered with the US copyright office. IIRC the fines start at $2500 per incident and go up to $25000 if I'm not mistaken. In other countries it is not such a definite help, but the removal of the mark is normally useful in proving willful infringement.

If that's your first time in Photoshop - Well Done.

Corrections I'd make is to brush off the flare that you put in on the top left a little from the skin tone on the girls face. It doesn't bother me on her beanie, but the skin tone it does. Also - I'd clean up some of the stray hairs on her right side of her head.

But over all - Good Job
