In order to use the R2 transmitter with the manual version of the StreakLight, you need the R2 receiver:

Oh, glad you pointed that out. Seems worth paying more just to avoid having to mess with a separate R2 receiver. My flickr

For that reason, I went with the TTL version considering how attractive the special deal price was. To me, it's definitely worth paying a bit more not to deal with any additional piece.

I can live without the TTL and probably just use a patch of velcro to keep the receiver from dangling. Or a bungee cord? Buhler? Buhler?

Dec 13, 2016 10:27 | #14 Tempted to get one even though my main aim was an extra speedlite this month or next. But I have two regular 360s already and use Odin triggers. The wireless 360s haven't been too attractive yet, because my speedlites now are Canon, and the Godox trigger won't fire canon in unison or vice versa without going slave, which isn't feasible many times. vadenphotography.com
