i asked earlier for a release/contract for some TfP work and got a FABULOUS version i was able to adapt to my own needs...

has anyone got a simple release/contract for PAID work? i really dont have any idea what all the aspects that i need consider and i want to keep everything on the up and up and cover all the "knowns" at least...

If money's not in the contract (tfp or amount) you have, you can leave it unchanged. When you pay the model, provide a written receipt referencing the contract. Keep copies of both.

Keep those issues separate. Payment is in the contract (or, as already said, noted in a receipt). Keep that separate from the model release, keep copies of both.

In practice, the model release and the contract may need to go in separate directions in the future.

I use and app on my phone. Works well.

Yes, I started doing that a bit ago (when I got my Note 4, which has a big screen and stylus to make it reasonable). I have model releases on the phone (three difference releases for different purposes).

But of course, those aren't modeling contracts, which might need to have very specific terms for the job and might not even be with the model (if she's working through an agency).

The vast majority of my work is retail consumer portraiture. The contract with the client is for their receipt of certain finished images for a certain fee, but the model release that allows me continued use of those images is a totally different issue.

The "Easy Release" app I use on my iPad is approved for use with Getty Images. I think it was $5.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).
