Hi, I'm new to photographing portraits with backdrops and studio style lighting at events for multiple couples.

This Christmas I will be doing such gig for a fancy military ball and having trouble deciding on what package options to offer.

I currently have the following options, but I know that sometimes the less options you give the quicker a client is willing to pick, so I want to make sure I offer the best options possible.

Is there anything you would change? Add? Remove? I know it's hard for you to recommend prices because you haven't seen my work, so you can skip on that. I am a decent photographer. I charge $1400 for most weddings. Own a 5d Mark II.---in case any of that means anything to you. I will take 85% of the profit, the rest goes to the website I use to sell.

Thank you so very much. If you send me an email to listadecraig123@gmail.com with your username here, and if I go with your suggestions I would like to send you a gift card for Christmas, I'll just need your mailing address. I know there's the potential for me to make over $4000 dollars each year doing this yearly event and advice from a more experienced studio photographer's could be greatly beneficial to me.

I'm thinking of doing same pose per package (e.g., for package a, they would receive the same exact photo in 8x10 and 5x7)
a. $25 (1)8X10and(1)5X7
b. $30 (2)8X10
c. $30 (1) 8X10 (8) Wallets
d. $35 (2)8X10 (8)Wallets
e. $40 (1)11X14
f. Full Rez Digital files with no prints $35
g. Full Rez Digital file when they purchase a package $15
I'm thinking of also emailing a small resolution (ideal for screen viewing/social media) photo file with my logo or logo of the event to those who purchase a package.

Any input helps, and is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Personally, I would get rid of the wallets. I just can't see those selling. I've noticed that even high school seniors do not even buy them nowadays. And I do like the idea of including a web-sized digital with any print purchase.

Best of luck!!

The guy we hired to do our office party had 2@ 5x7 in one of his packages. That was a popular option as the couple used them at their desk at work.

He also had a few props for people to pose with; that was a popular option later in the evening. I'm not sure if your uniformed attendees would do that but you never know.

He had an option to capture payment on the spot with a Square credit card scanner plugged into a tablet.
