Tried something different and did a shoot in a record store with my friend. I was afraid the lighting was going to be bad but it was pretty cool.

Cool. I can't count the number of hours I spent in a similar pose comparing albums.

If you're open to suggestions, try increasing the exposure a bit on #1 and crop out the dude in the shorts on #2. Solid images without changes. Minor tweaks would make them stand out.

Don't be afraid to increase the ISO in low light. The 70D is certainly usable at 1600 if you expose to the right. Nothing wrong with a little noise.

Ah! You're right! I'm gonna do that. Thank you! I really was afraid to bring up the ISO because of the grain. I learned to realize that some photos kind of look really good with the noise and grain. Thank you again, Lee!

Great idea for a shoot location...both are good comps too.
Personally I want a little more focus on the guy that is your subject, he seems a bit OOF in both, especially the second image.
