You look like one of those weird authors who keep staring at you from the back-covers of their weird books – that was my daughter’s comment on this picture..

Digital Rebel XT hooked up to the computer, EF 50mm f/1.8, Av, f4, 1/8”, ISO 200, Average, AWB, room with lousy daylight.

CC, please!

Actually, your daughter is right, but the pic is great! Very simple. I like it.

Its good. The only gripe I have is the reflections in your glasses - a polariser might help that though??

No FREEZE, I was not able to see shot before I took it, it was just remote shooting of several shots.
However, that way I was able to see the shot right after it was taken in greater details than if I had looked at the camera screen.

Bindii, I know that direct light against my glasses really sucks, but I don’t have circular polarizer for my Nifty Fifty.

Thanks all for your kind words, I’m glad you liked the shot..

When is your book coming out? ;)

I think it's pretty good for a self portrait. Maybe take the lenses out of your glasses next time?

Great sot except for the glare in glasses. One suggestion is to take the glass out of the frames then photograph yourself. It's a little work but no glare!

good shot, the only thing I don't like and I know is so hard to fix would be the glasses reflection.
